In order to assess the issues presented by each discharge, we must understand its composition via sampling. This involves analysing the most representative parameters and performing tests such as the Jar test to ascertain process performance, allowing us to select the best treatment for each specific case.
Preliminary analysis of wastewater discharge allows the pollutant load discharged by a company to be analysed and the treatment best suited to each company to be identified.
To ensure a correct analysis of wastewater discharge, an automatic sampling device must be used to allow samples to be taken on a regular basis 24 hours a day. It is also important to establish whether there are any specific times when the factory discharges more wastewater than usual, leading to a temporary increase in load and flow.
Once the data has been collected, the samples are sent to the laboratory. Tests are carried out on all parameters (QDO, QBO5, MSS, NT, P, K, heavy metals, pH, conductivity, temperature, etc.) considered necessary to inform the design of the purification system.
