Slaughterhouses

The wastewater derived from the activity of the slaughterhouses is characterized mainly by the high volume generated and by the high organic load associated to this type of water.
The main processes that contribute to the volume and pollutant loads of the final spill are the equipment and facilities cleaning, channels cleaning, the stages of scalding and bleeding, and, in some cases, offal zone and tripes.
